“Only the Finest” yarns are designed and spun with each fiber’s optimal end-use in mind! Each raw fleece is evaluated for finest, crimp, staple length, color, luster, and overall quality. Fleeces are then pooled, blended, and spun to create one-of-a-kind yarns for knitting, crochet, and weaving. Yarns are either left in their natural color or hand-dyed in small batches using a variety of techniques. As a result, no two yarn lots are ever the same which means whatever you make with them is truly unique!

Each “Only the Finest” roving is created from a blend of natural and hand-dyed fibers to create one-of-a-kind preparations for handspinners and felters. We start with the same hand-selected raw materials, hand-dye to add color, and blend to make either complex monochromatic or multi-color striped roving, ready to spin or incorporate into your next felting project.

For those who want to create their own unique fiber blends, “Only the Finest” offers a variety of minimally processed fibers from clean, natural-colored batts, to hand-dyed locks and sample collections of solid, hand-dyed rovings, perfect for adding a pop of color to your own fiber concoctions.

A limited number of “mill-ready” skirted prime fleeces and skirted “seconds” are available. Send me a message to inquire about available colors, staple length, etc.
